📡 How does this work?
Most airliners carry an ADS-B transponder that broadcasts position, altitude, speed and identity about twice a second on 1090 MHz. Volunteers around the world receive these signals and share them. Coverage over the sea and remote areas can be limited.
🎓 Spotter challenge
Find a flight landing at KLIA (WMKK). What type is it? Is it climbing or descending? Which runway might it use? Check your answers with the Air Scout skills courses.
